Environmentally Unfriendly Package

Environmentally-Unfriendly Package

Bottled water in plastic bottles; well even though it is extremely convenient and I drink more water when I purchase them, I have stopped due to the  amount of energy it takes to recycle the plastic.  The other problem is not all of the bottles are being re-cycled by their users, they are being thrown away and not seperated into a plastic recycle bins.  The product is not a bad product per-say just that the packaging is bad for the environment.  Glass bottles with a refund that encourages shoppers to bring them back to the store is a great idea, I remember doing this as a child.

Environmentally-Friendly Package

This product is especially environmentally-friendly due to the fact that it is in glass and on your return trip to the grocery you bring it back for a refund and it is re-used by the manufacturer.  The fact that the milk is in glass lets you see the product easier than looking through plastic.  The product is worth paying a little extra for the convenience of the easy return process and the benefit to our environment.

Freshness Anywhere

I like the fact that you can feel and smell the freshness with these products.  I also like the fact that you can take them home and get continued use from them as long as you nuture the product.  This product makes me feel healthy and will enable me to make a pleasant dinner that is not only tasty but well presented.

Packaged Freshness

Packaged Freshness

Because the product has been dried and then sealed, I can’t think of anything that could make the product stale.  I also like the fact that it is in a re-sealable container to keep it exactly how you purchased the product through it’s shelf life in your cabinet, as I have experienced.

Salad Inspiration

The different Almond Accents give exciting new ideas for salads.  Not only are they a visual essay of the possibilities of spicing up a salad, if the entire package is not used it is re-sealable to stay fresh for your next salad creation.

Salad Inspiration

Trying to walk by the fresh tomatoes and avacados and herbs, without wanting to make a salad immediately is impossible. The fresh produce can be added to a package of salad or to a couple of heads of lettuce you have just picked up, it makes you want to finish shopping and make your salad.

A Really Bad Salad Package

A Really Bad Salad Package

I think this package of salad in very dull and un-inviting.  There is to much of the package covered with solid color that takes away from the viewing of the actual product inside.  I like the fact that the ingredients are listed on the label but could be supported with a picture here and there instead of all of the solid colors.  This package was in the produce section of a local grocery store.

A Great Salad Package

A Couple of Great Salad Packages

I like the fact that both of these packages have visuals on the bags so that you can discern the ingredients without having to read the text, but still leave anough non printed areas on the bag to  see the product.  The text is beneficial and I think necessary but the additional visuals are a bonus.  The package was found in the produce section of a local grocery store.  The colored section on the top of the bags could be elimintaed to see more of the product.
